On the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930-October 20, 2000), the Department General of Posts and Telecommunications (DGPT) issues a special stamp set entitled "In celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930-October 20, 2000)".

     The one-model set has a face value of VND400 bearing the banner "Vietnamese women acting for the gender equality, development and peace", illustrating the due attention from the Party and State given to Vietnamese women who have been contributing greatly to the cause of national reconstruction and defense.
