APT's aim is to maintain equilibrium development of telecommunication network in Asian Pacific region in line with socio-economic development. APT has 3 main tasks: making plan to coordinate programmes of regional telecom service exploitation & management; Giving consultation to solve telecom problems effectively on the base of the region; Making tightly coordination on telecom technique in the region.
