The Cat Tien National Park is one of the biggest preservation zones in Vietnam, situated 125km away from the northern-east of HCM City. The part consists of three sections: Nam Cat Tien (38,302ha) in Dong Nai Province, Tay Cat Tien (5,382ha) in Binh Phuoc Province, and Cat Loc (30,635ha) in Lam Dong Province. All the three were merged under the unique management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in December 1998.
