To welcome the lunar new year festival, the Department General of Posts and Telecommunications (DGPT) issues a special stamp set entitled "Tan Ty Lunar New Year Festival".

The two-model set has a respective face value of VND400 and VND8,000 representing the snake, which is the 6th among the 12 sacred animals.

The snake, the peach and apricot blossoms mingle altogether, adding colors to the coming spring which is accompanied with much hope in the brighter future of the nation entering the new era of culture, co-operation and integration.
